We have started EK on some solid foods and so far she has tried applesauce, sweet potatoes, bananas, peas, and pears. Her favorites so far are sweet potatoes and pears. I'm not too crazy about the peas or the diapers that come with eating them. She eats them but I don't think she likes them as good as the other foods she has tried. She is eating solid foods at lunch and at dinner time. She has a bottle (5 oz.) about 5 times per day still. We've tried working her up to 6 oz. but she isn't having it. One thing we have learned lately is that EK will let you know when she's had enough!! :) HAHA!
We are still working on rolling over with EK. She's just not too interested in it right now and spends most of her time trying to put hands, feet, and toys in her mouth instead of rolling over. She did roll over back to front and then front to back at Mom's last week (Monday, March 11th) right before we went to eat for Macy's birthday. I think we scared her because all of us were cheering for her. She also loves to do sit-ups. No kidding. She will lift herself up off of her back and almost to a sitting position. We love every little ounce of her and all of her new tricks. We also love seeing that big smile everyday. No matter how stressed we can get sometimes, that smile is all we need to make things better.
Since the weather has warmed up, we have taken some golf cart rides with EK. She absolutely loves it. I think she could ride all day long!
We are looking forward to her 1st Easter on Sunday, March 31st. The Easter Bunny may or may not have went a little overboard already. Below are some pictures of our little EK over the past month.
